Ruth Bloomfield Margolin has been delighted to see her byline on several New York Times crossword puzzles (especially the big Sunday one!), and she'll soon be seeing it in the Wall Street Journal as well. With a career in education and community work, a love of words, and an empty nest, she takes great pleasure in the creativity of making puzzles. Most of all, she gets a kick out of the conversations that result from her unusual response to the inevitable small talk question: "So, what do you do?"
